I see in the other reviews that the customers were happy with the colors green and orange. I ordered the 'terra cotta', and it is significantly different than the picture appears. I would describe the picture on the website as sort of a deep, flat, red. What I received is absolutely brown. It is just a couple of shades darker than typical cardboard used for packages. Not that you couldn't describe this color as 'terra cotta', but it is definitely not as depicted with that picture. I would be happy to attach a picture, if that was an option on here. I'm not quite gung-ho enough to make a video....
Other than the color being off, it seems like a perfectly acceptable sugar bowl, which appears to be what you (person reading this) are looking for.

I found this little number. It is just breathtaking. A visual delight. Those of you who have seen some of my other reviews know I am all about the red. The red is shiny and rich just like in the picture. I really like the style and shape of the whole thing, the bowl, the lid. It has that hand crafted look. The lid handle is sort of small as another poster mentioned. The lid rests on top, so their is slight movement of the lid if jostled but the bowl will remain covered. It is a nice size too, not too big for the kitchen table. Red satisfaction!

The bowl is very cute and a beautiful orange - just like the picture. I use splenda and kept the bowl near my coffee maker on the counter which is about 2 feet from the stove. Whenever I use the big burner on the stovetop, the splenda melts in the bowl. Therefore, this is useless to me so I'm trying to find something else to use it for.
